Ecco Consultants, doing business as Be AI Visible (“Be AI Visible,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit beaivisible.ai (the “Site”), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

For the purposes of applicable data protection law, Ecco Consultants is the controller of personal information collected through the Site.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you fill out a form, request an audit or consultation, subscribe to updates, or contact us directly, we may collect:

  • Name
  • Business email address
  • Phone number
  • Company name, website URL, industry, and role
  • Details about your business, marketing goals, budget range, or current AI visibility
  • Any other information you choose to include in a message

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our analytics providers may automatically collect:

  • IP address and approximate location derived from it
  • Browser type, device type, operating system, and screen size
  • Pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, clicks, and referring URL
  • The search term, ad, or campaign that brought you to the Site
  • Cookie and device identifiers

Information from third parties

We may receive information about you from advertising platforms, analytics providers, CRM and enrichment tools, and publicly available business sources, and combine it with the information above.

3. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Site, understand how it is used, and measure and improve our advertising. The categories we use are:

  • Strictly necessary. Required for the Site to function, including page delivery, security, and form submission.
  • Analytics and performance. Used to understand traffic sources and on page behavior so we can improve the Site. This includes Google Analytics 4.
  • Advertising and remarketing. Used to measure ad performance and show relevant ads to people who have visited the Site. This includes Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing tags.
  • Marketing and CRM. Used to associate form submissions with a contact record and to understand which pages a known contact viewed. This includes HubSpot tracking.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics opt out browser add on and manage Google ad personalization at Google Ads Settings.

We do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals. Where required by law, we honor Global Privacy Control signals as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

4. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and provide the audit, consultation, or information you requested
  • Deliver, manage, and improve our services
  • Send marketing communications about our services, where permitted
  • Measure and optimize our website and advertising campaigns
  • Understand which channels and pages generate qualified inquiries
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

We do not sell your personal information for money.

5. Legal bases for processing

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process personal information on the following legal bases:

  • Consent for non essential cookies and marketing emails
  • Contract where processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or to perform one
  • Legitimate interests in operating, securing, analyzing, and marketing our business, balanced against your rights
  • Legal obligation where we are required to retain or disclose information

6. How we share information

We share personal information only as described below. We do not sell your personal information.

  • Service providers. Vendors that operate on our behalf, including website hosting, CRM and marketing automation, email delivery, analytics, advertising platforms, scheduling, payment processing, and cloud storage. These providers may process personal information only to provide services to us.
  • Advertising partners. Platforms such as Google may receive identifiers through tags on the Site to measure conversions and serve remarketing ads. Under some state privacy laws this may be considered “sharing” for cross context behavioral advertising, and you may opt out as described in Section 9.
  • Professional advisors. Lawyers, accountants, and insurers where necessary.
  • Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law. Inquiry and CRM records are generally retained for the duration of our relationship with you and for a reasonable period afterward for business and legal record keeping. Analytics data is retained according to the settings of the relevant platform. You may request deletion as described in Section 9.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your privacy rights

If you are in the United States

Depending on your state, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
  • Access a copy of your personal information
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Delete your personal information
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross context behavioral advertising
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland

You may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal information, the right to data portability, the right to withdraw consent at any time, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

How to exercise your rights

Email [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will verify your identity before acting and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits.

10. Marketing communications

You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message or by emailing us. We may still send transactional or service related messages relating to an active engagement.

11. International transfers

We are based in the United States and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in a country with different data protection laws than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

12. Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Third party links

The Site may link to third party websites and platforms that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to them. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

14. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be posted prominently on this page. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
